i have this fish finder. there are a few alarms on it. check to make sure that the depth alarm and low battery alarm is turned off. also make sure that the fish alert is off. make sure your battery connections are tight this will give a false low Bat. alarm. last check to make sure that your sensitiviy isn’t on high in murky water this will give a false bottom reading
